Insurance makes up half Medicover's new business sales

Demand for private medical healthcare insurance in Poland is finally taking off, according to Fredrik Ragmark, chief executive of Medicover, the second largest provider of private healthcare are in Poland.  The company together with rival Lux-Med has traidtionally sold subscription services where an employer pays a monthly sum enabling employees to have access to a limited basket of services. Now Ragmark says that over half new business written by Medicover takes the form of insurance.
