Aleris buys Proxima to create a Kaiser Permanente solution

Scandinavian healthcare group Aleris has transformed its capabilities with the acquisition of Proxima in Sweden for SEK1.08bn (€119m) for equity and net debt. The deal shows that Investor, the quoted investment group behind Aleris, is serious about building a Kaiser Permanente-style operation touching the patient at many points, as the Swedish healthcare market opens up to the private sector.
