Fortis backs out of Acibadem

Indian hospital operator Fortis has dropped its planned bid for Acibaden, the elite quoted Turkish hospital group. Acibadem may now be sold to Khazanah, the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund. Investment house Abraaj put is stake in Acibadem up for sale earlier this year.
