Asklepios gets 53% of Mediclin

Asklepios has vaulted over Helios and Rhoen Klinikum to become Germany and Europe’s largest private hospital group with forecast sales of €2.8bn in 2011 and has also found a new youngish chief executive with the acquisition of a majority stake in Mediclin, the quoted German reha/acute hospital group. We look at the strategy and what it tells us about Asklepios future plans.
