Stockholm politicians of all persuasions are looking at functionally privatising Sodertalja hospital in South Stockholm on a fee per capita model. They are in Spain now to look at the Alzira model, in which all the primary and secondary care needs of a population are looked after by a single integrated provider on a long-term contract. So what does the next 2-3 years hold for functional privatisation in Sweden?
