Interview: Nancy Hollendoner, Hawkpoint

A former healthcare services analyst at UBS, Nancy has advised on most of the big deals in the UK and has strong views on the NHS and the UK private sector. She is also a non-executive director at Southern Cross, the beleaguered care home group. The UK coalition government is determined to involve the private sector more in the delivery of NHS healthcare services in England. We talk to Nancy about the English NHS reforms - in which consortia of family doctors (GPs) will become the buyers of most secondary care, replacing 150 primary care trusts - and what these changes mean for the private sector.
