The latest Swedish export is integrated care which brings together primary care with some day surgery and other specialisations in either polyclinics and or small reconfigured hospitals. A report from the University of Linköping found savings of 50% from the new model. Dr Patric Kallman, CEO of INCA Integrated Care Solutions wants to set up similar practices in Germany and the UK with plans to build sales from zero to EUR60m in five years. We interview him.
