Interview: Helmut Hildebrandt, chief executive, OptiMedis AG

OptiMedis has pioneered a new holistic approach to population health and chronic disease management and has put its money where its mouth is by agreeing to work on a nearly no win, no fee basis. By setting up systems which give German practitioners the equivalent of a 15% salary hike, the company has managed to reduce costs for big insurers by nearly 5%, as well as making a profit. We interview Helmut Hildebrandt, a former medical sociologist, about his brainchild and his expansion plans.
