Italy remains a tough market for the private sector

Whilst Denis Ribon, a partner at 3i and Labco director, says that there is talk of privatizing labs in Italy, most Italians remain pessimistic about the market. The good news is that lab and imaging prices appear to have been kept more or less flat in 2011, says Giovanni Trimboli, the former head of Fleming Laboratories in Italy.
