Lab companies set to sue Hesse

Big lab companies say they are taking legal action against Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hessen, which regulates outpatient prices for healthcare service in the German region of Hesse, after it unilaterally cut prices for lab tests by 10-30% in the last quarter of 2009 and the first half of 2010.
