3i, together with NI Partners, the private equity division of the NATIXIS group, has just purchased 65% of Vedici, whilst January saw Ramsay buy 57% of Proclif. Yet the latest tariff rise for the private sector for MCO (médecine, chirurgie, obstétrique) was zero and, on average, the private sector gets 30% less per procedure than the public. What’s the appeal?
